Hey Slugs,

Clan AxiS has challenged us to a battle of glory and honour. Mission briefing is as follows:

Where: SEA Battle.net, channel axsvsfs
When: Sunday, 30th June. 8pm AEDT, 6pm SGT, 9pm NZST
Combatants: Any Slugs currently ranked in Platinum or Diamond League on SEA server.
Format: Best-of-9, GSTL All-kill

Please advise of your availability ASAP! If you want to play but can't make it for the very start, let me know and I will accommodate by putting you later in the lineup. We do, however need a Platinum player to start (AxiS will be doing the same) so please advise me if you would like to go first. These clan wars are all about friendly competition and gaining competitive experience, so please get stuck in!

Hey, is it possible for someone who was Masters last season, but Diamond this season, to play in this clan war? I think i speak for both ShadowMamba and myself, as we wish to prevent a misunderstanding from happening again.

Yeah its fine as long as you are actively laddering, whatever rank sea says, is what you are

To be clear for clan wars (that is playing for fusion slugs, not any individual tournament) my rule is:

- You must be ranked as that race on SEA and active
- If you are higher on another server you should let me know. Sometimes it is ok. For instance if you are plat on NA, but active gold on SEA, you'd be fine.

Things which are not ok:

- Off racing cause you assume your off race is "gold". You only play as your main race for us and act at your SEA league level
- Playing at a level you guess you are cause you are not ranked or havent played much on sEA
- Being two leagues higher (or top of the league above) on your active account on another server. IE dont play in BGS if you are top of plat or higher on another server.

Note - Active is the keyword. I have seen cases where people just do placement games and get placed way higher then they should.
One of the founding FS members was a good case in point, he had a few people leave during his placements, and was lucky to win the other games due to some sheer luck and got placed Diamond on NA. His rank on SEA at the time was bronze (and he was legit bronze).. I think he only ever hit silver on SEA ever.... I never would of considered him a diamond level player, or even a gold level one. the NA account was not active, so it was ignored.
